GENERAL INFORMATION
All pieces are made of faience, created in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean — Terceira Island, Azores, Portugal — and feature the Adolfo Mendonça Atelier® brand mark.
Being a delicate handmade work, small irregularities may occur. Each detail is crafted individually, creating unique compositions. No two pieces are alike, even within the same model. That's where the magic happens!
Photographs and colour samples are as accurate as possible.
The colours and colour combinations shown may vary depending on available stock.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Not all glazes are advised for use as tableware. Before placing your order, please check the specifications for each item carefully, as they indicate whether it is suitable for serving food.

It is not advised; the pieces are not made for microwave use.

Due to the detail and textures, it is not advisable to clean any of the pieces in the dishwasher.

They will be shown at checkout and include: credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
PAYMENT METHODS

We deliver to the Azores, Madeira, mainland Portugal, and the European Union. For shipments outside the EU, please contact our studio directly at info@adolfomendoncaatelier.com.

All orders are sent by CTT registered mail.

Shipping fees depend on the weight of the order and the delivery destination, and are calculated automatically at checkout. The minimum shipping fee is €5. Both in-person delivery and collection are free.
For purchases over €250, shipping is free to Portugal. Enter the code “PT250” at checkout.

For products in stock, delivery is expected to take 7 to 15 days within Portugal and 15 to 30 days across the European Union.

Visit the online store on this website, select the items you want, and complete your order by choosing a delivery option and a payment method. Shipping will only occur once payment has been received.

Yes, except for customised products. You have 14 days to make an exchange or return, provided the products are in their original condition. If you wish to exercise this right, please send an email to info@adolfomendoncaatelier.com. For more information, please read Terms & Conditions.

I'm very sorry if that happens.
In case of damage during transport, if the packaging shows visible damage upon delivery, you should not sign any document and should immediately state (either by collecting it at a CTT post office or having it delivered to your home) that you do not accept the order. Then, report the incident within 48 hours via email to info@adolfomendoncaatelier.com.
If you receive a damaged or broken item, you also have 48 hours to report the situation after delivery. How to do it:
Send a photo of the condition of the packaging and the item in question to info@adolfomendoncaatelier.com.
While waiting for a response, keep the item and its packaging.
If you do not wish to receive a replacement item, you will be refunded the value of the damaged item, excluding the shipping cost.
