Each detail is meticulously crafted individually, resulting in distinctive compositions. It is important to note that the manual craftsmanship is delicate, and differences may exist between pieces of the same model, including variations in colour, size, shape, and minor irregularities. This characteristic has consistently been appreciated by Adolfo Mendonça Atelier, which has upheld the principle of producing unique pieces from its inception.
Adolfo Mendonça Atelier strives to ensure that the photographs are as faithful as possible, specifically showing the true shape, texture, colour, and finish of each piece.
The descriptions are also crafted to better inform visitors or prospective clients regarding the characteristics of the pieces.
The colours and colour combinations displayed are subject to variation depending on the available stock.
Prices
The prices displayed are in euros (€) and are VAT exempt according to Article 53 of the VAT Code, unless stated otherwise. Adolfo Mendonça Atelier reserves the right to modify prices without prior notice, except for orders that have already been confirmed. Orders
Currently, you may purchase our products through the online store available on this website. Certain items may be in stock, whereas others may be temporarily unavailable.
To place an order, the user is required to adhere to the checkout procedure and furnish accurate and comprehensive information. Upon completion of the order, the user will receive a confirmation email.
Adolfo Mendonça Atelier reserves the right to decline any order by notifying the customer if there is suspicion of misconduct on the customer's part or if any discrepancies are identified in the personal data provided.
Payment Methods
Available payment methods will be indicated at checkout and include: credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
Payment must be completed for the order to be processed. In case of payment failure, the order will be automatically cancelled.
Shipping and Delivery
Orders are shipped to the address provided by the user, delivered in person (only in Angra do Heroísmo), or collected by the customer (Angra do Heroísmo or Praia da Vitória).
For products available in stock, delivery is estimated to take between 7 to 15 days within Portugal and between 15 to 30 days across the European Union.
Shipments are dispatched to the Azores, Madeira, mainland Portugal, and the European Union. For international shipments beyond the EU, kindly contact the atelier directly via the following email address: info@adolfomendoncaatelier.com.
Shipping costs vary according to the weight of the order and the delivery destination, calculated automatically when proceeding with the order (checkout). Both in-person delivery and pickup options are free.
Shipping will only be processed upon receipt of payment.
For orders over €250, shipping to Portugal is free. Enter code “PT250” at checkout.
Upon processing the order, the customer is notified via electronic mail. All shipments are dispatched through CTT using registered mail services.
Once an order has been shipped, cancellation is no longer possible.
The supplier shall not be held liable for delays attributable to the carriers.
In the event of damage occurring during transportation, if the packaging exhibits visible impairments upon delivery, the customer is advised not to sign any documentation and should promptly indicate, either by collecting the item at a CTT post office or through home delivery, that they do not accept the order. Subsequently, the incident must be reported within 48 hours via email to info@adolfomendoncaatelier.com.
In the event that the customer receives a damaged or defective item, they are granted a period of 48 hours from the time of delivery to report the issue. The procedure for reporting is as follows:
➞ Please send a photograph of the packaging condition and the item in question to the following email address: info@adolfomendoncaatelier.com.
➞ Until a response is received, retain the item and its packaging.
If the customer elects not to receive a replacement item, a refund shall be issued for the value of the damaged item, excluding shipping costs.
Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with the applicable legislation (Decree-Law No. 24/2014), the consumer is entitled to a period of 14 days to exchange or return the item(s), excluding personalized products, provided they remain in their original condition. Exchange and Return Policy
Within the 14-day period and under the conditions outlined in the previous item, the obligation for shipping related to exchanges or returns rests with the customer, who is also accountable for the associated shipping costs.
In the case of an exchange, the customer is permitted to select one or more items of equal or greater value than the item being replaced, with only the difference in cost being applicable. All expenses associated with the exchange shall be the responsibility of the customer.
In the event of a return, the refunded amount will solely correspond to the value of the item(s), excluding the shipping cost.
The refund will be processed within 14 days.
Adolfo Mendonça Atelier expressly reserves the right to decline any exchange, return, or refund if the goods are not returned in their original condition or exhibit any damage.
Guarantees
Consumers are entitled to the benefit of applicable legal guarantees. Defective products are required to be reported within a reasonable timeframe after the defect is identified.
Complaints and Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, the consumer has the option to seek resolution through the competent Consumer Conflict Arbitration Centre, in accordance with Regulation (EU) n.º524/2013.
